Albergo Marin lies in the historic centre of Venice, in a quiet location, less than five minutes walking either from Santa Lucia railway station and from Piazzale Roma, the bus station where you can catch bust number 5 or ATVO bus to reach the airports of Venice (Marco Polo) and Treviso respectively.
The Hotel is a small oasis of comfort and relax, very accurate in every small detail, from furnishings to cleaning. We are proud of our cleaning staff since every housekeeper puts huge care in his/her work, as we consider this one of the most important aspects to pay attention to. Our prices are attractive and competitive. Our staff is friendly and happy to provide information to satisfy our guests needs , from restaurants to phone shop, tickets to visit museums and pass to travel in Venice.
At Albergo Marin in Venice our aim is: our satisfaction is seeing our guests satisfied.
Albergo Marin has all rooms with private ensuite bathroom with shower but one, the famous room 209, which we sell therefore at a lower rate. Smoking is strictly forbidden in all the rooms and in common areas, but it’s allowed outside in the front terrace.
Breakfast is partially at buffet, continental , from 8.00 to 10.30 and you can select to include it in your rate plan or not. We do offer sweet and salty flavours, hot and cold: please consider we do our best to change and increase breakfast variety every day, but you shouldn’t expect to get a 5 star buffet since, unfortunately, it’s not our standard. Something our international guests die for are scrambled eggs with bacon, cooked ad the very last second and served express to your table.
Regarding services, hotel has air conditioning in each room and a charming corner bar, where you can enjoy jazz music and have relaxing time drinking a cocktail before going to sleep in your rooms. In spring and summer time we do serve soft and long drinks outside where we have a few tables with chairs, one of the most photographed hidden corners of Venice!
Winter: in winter time, from December 1 until March 10, from 16.00 to 17.00 at the bar you can join the famous “Tea Time”. Our staff will serve you a cup of tea to warm up after a day spent sightseeing discovering Venice. From 2020 we substituted tea-time with comlimentary kettle and tea placed in each room, to guarantee social distances and cope with the Anti-Covid guidelines.
