The Casa dei Tre Oci (house of the three eyes), bought by the Venice Foundation, has already hosted last year an exhibition dedicated to Elliot Erwitt, known for his characteristic shots in black and white. The emotions will be repeated through another exhibition, this time dedicated to Gianni Berengo Gardin, one of Italy’s most important photographers.

The artictic director of the Casa dei Tre Oci himself, Denis Curti, has guided the master in choosing among his private archive the 130 shots that represent at best his path. Many unpublished prints will be shown for the first time to the public, gathered across Berengo Gardin’s long career. Everything was converted in a modern key, from the start to the more recent shots, in a way that they would tell all of its story.

If you want to visit the Casa dei Tre Oci and see the Gianni Berengo Gardin: Stories of a photographer exhibition, remember to book your stay with Albergo Marin.
