News 2009-2010: Tea room in the sweet Venice afternoon
From December the 1st 2009, and up to March the 14th 2010, every day at 16.15 "tea time" starts, and our breakfast room becomes a tea room where you can enjoy a warm break during cold winter days. At this time, till 17.00, you can ask our staff to provide you a hot cup of tea with cookies: this is a small gift we want to offer to you in order to improve your venecian time and make you understand how much we care about our nice guests!

P.s. Please note that tea time is free of charge (except accidentals as cappuccini or chocolate,etc.), but you should respect scheduled time from 16.15 to 17.00

News 2009: Hotel Albergo Marin Wifi zone
From 2009 Albergo Marin installed a wif system which is able to offer you the possibility to surf for free on the ground floor, in the lobby and in the reception (obviously if you own your laptop or mobile phone)

News 2008: Hotel Albergo Marin restyiling!
At the end of 2007, Hotel Marin began a restyiling in order to supply you a better product; indeed we are redoing 4 "partial bathrooms" which are going to beceome complete bathrooms with sink, bidet, wc, hairdryer and shower with idro-Jacuzzi (not bathtub). Morevorer, we are preparing other two complete bathrooms in two old rooms with they first had no bathroom ensuite. In this way our hotel will only have rooms with bathroom, except room n° 209, on the second floor, the only one with external batrhoom. Finally, we won't have single rooms anymore, so in case you wouyld like to stay alone you should require a double for single use, with the same price of a double for 2 persons during high season, but discounted for frequent guests and during low seasons.

ATTENTION Please!!! New room with Jacuzzi shower, available from February 2008 and may be some before Christmas 2007) will be assigned in primis to those who reserve their stay here directly with us, that means over our official website , by phone, via mail or through www.best-bookings.com, then, just in case some of them are still available, to those who use an external reservation website. Therefore please don't ask for a room with jacuzzi idro shower if you don't reserved your room as written before.

Library Roadshow: do you know it?
Everywhere in Venice, hidden by the shadows of famous buildings, you can admire unbelievable jems. At the same way, hotel Marin has a precious and unknown richness inside its walls, something which is extremely appreciated by those who know its value: te so called "Library Roadshow". It is a small space, placed in a cozy corner, where you can find hundreds of books, left from guests during this years. In exchange, each guest takes a book with himself, with the mnark of hotel marin, and carries it away everywhere he goes, untill he finshes it. This is the moment in which he has to find out another library roadshow, put his name inside it and takes another book. In this way every text will have a reader list inside its pages. As you can see, a simple thing as reading becomes an incredible way of getting in touch people upcoming from different countries and different cultures, with the common passion for this two magic things: venice, and hotel marin, and reading.
