The exhibition reconstructs, through a very detailed analysis, the expressive world of Niceron following the charming interpretation of rhetorical patterns present in his treatise; it virtually covers the complex of the spaces that host the anamorphosis ‘twin’ of the Fathers Niceron and Maignan and it includes the value of initiation; along the paths of the Roman and French correspondence of the author, the exhibition investigates the political secrets of its geometric and optical-games, assignable to the poetics of the doubt developed by René Descartes. The (physical and virtual) reconstructions collected in this exhibition, never as in this case, as in the word illusion show (in ludus) hides a playful component, exerted by Niceron the border between art and science.

The latter is composed of 50 pieces, every one of which has been collected by the noblewoman Adele Fornoni Bisacco Palazzi (1869 – 1968) throughout her life. The laces have been preserved with meticulous care, and they constitute one of the museum’s most important treasures. Through the exhibition you will travel through the history of the ancient art of laces thanks to specimen not only from Venice, but from all over Europe.

According to schedule they will remain visible only up until the 28^th of April.

The show introduces a journey through the beauty of Japanese gardens, whose images will be projected on a large white carpet. The public will sit around the latter, and will follow a route through five different type of environments: the water lily garden, the grass garden, the playing bridge garden, the flower garden and the sea garden. The dancer will introduce these scenarios, moving at the rhythm of music.

Nowadays, the church can be visited in the eastern part of the Giudecca Island. The old hospice surrounds it on three sides, creating a small courtyard within. In the building are guarded artworks by Aliense, Leandro Bassano and Palma il Giovane.

Under the direction of Annunziata Dellisanti and in collaboration with the Women of Veneto in Music Centre, the “Percussion Village” is an initiative whose objective is to awaken interest in music. More than 100 percussion instruments from the whole world will be exhibited, starting from the simple xylophone to the more exotic conchs and drums.

Through a path that travels across the roots of human society and the social aspect that music held since ancient times, visitors will understand the power that such tools held in creating relationships between individuals.

Well, this exhibition has been enriched thanks to the collaboration of the contemporary artist Mirco Marchelli who has presented and an installation for the occasion named “Mute scenery for low clouds“. Using the material found at the third flood of the palace (where Fortuny himself once lived), Marchelli has composed new shapes proposing a musical installation and transforming old objects in new art.

The 150 images chosen to be exhibited within it have been chosen among his most important shots, and they let us travel through the most beautiful monuments of Italy.

Through these experiments using the Polaroid, Galimberti has collected a collection of impressive artistic value through the course of the years; Benedetta Donato, the curator of this exhibition, has helped in choosing the most characteristic shots to be shown, creating what could be defined as a journey across all of the Italian peninsula .

This building dates back to the 20^th century; it was conceived by the painter Mario de Maria, and became his residence once it was complete. In the following years, it hosted numerous artists and intellectuals becoming a place for debates, artistic production and where to meet.

In 2000 the Casa dei Tre Oci was bought by the Venice Foundation, which has opened it to the public after a long and accurate restoration to host a photographic exhibition. This society often organizes events to appreciate art from the ’900. This month, another exhibition (this time dedicated to Gianni Berengo Gardin) will open with pictures never seen before.
